Good luck Palace, genuinely

The title of this update is meant without an ounce of irony. I have no problems with the Eagles struggling because they have bad players or a dopey manager, I just don't want to see them capitulate because of off-field issues.

From the outside looking in, it would appear that Ambrose and co have pulled together brilliantly in times of financial uncertainty and their position of just outside the play-offs is a tremendous achievement. I hope that if the 10-point deduction is enforced they can regroup and remain in the Championship - just. Think about it Addickted, who knows how close we were/are to suffering the same fate.

Get real! They would be dancing on our graves. Laugh til you cry.

No hang on they saved us in the 80's when they allowed us to use Selhurst Park. We should be grateful...

Essentially i'm with you Croydon.
Oh! how i laughed when we sent them down. Look at where we are now!
Let them be our adversaries, let us exchange banter and even insults.
But i don't want them or any football club out of business. [well perhaps the Scum :)]
Sooner or later someone somewhere has to get a grip on football finances, or many more will follow Palarse's lead.
My only difference with your opinion is i would like to see them drop to League 1. Particularly if we manage to leave for the Championship.
